PRODUCT QUESTIONS...

Can a catalog be sent to me?

We offer product samples, informational literature. Our catalog is an electronic PDF form for viewing on your computer.

What are the different products you carry?
We offer a variety of card products: business cards, 4x6 standard post cards, 6x8 giant post cards, 4x9 rack cards, 6x12 direct mail cards and an 8x11 display card. Folding cards include: vertical and horizontal business cards, 4x6 note cards, 6x6 brochures, 4x9 brochures, and 6x8 brochures.

What quantities are available?
We offer quantities beginning at 1,000. From there, we have 2,500, 5,000, 10,000, 20,000, 30,000 and so forth in increments of 10,000.

Can I get a quantity that’s not listed in your rates?
All of our press runs are fixed quantities listed above. So if you need 3,600 cards for your mailing. The next quantity above our standard 2,500 should be ordered to insure that there will be enough for the mailing. That’s an order of 5,000. The cost of 5,000 is less than adding the 1,000 and 2,500 together.

PRINTING QUESTIONS...
Are all of the cards coated?

Yes. Our cards receive a super high gloss protective coating. It gives the cards a much longer life, (impervious to scratches and stains while in the mail), and a very luxurious appearance as well.

What type paper do you use?
We use a heavy card stock, 12 point thickness. It is the same stock as all of our promotional cards.

Can I get a different type paper?
We can’t offer you a different type of paper due to our process.

What if I don’t want my cards coated?
It is possible for us to leave the coating off of your cards. There is a set-up fee to leave the coating off. 

What if I want coating on both sides?
It is possible for us to coat both sides of your cards. There is a set-up fee associated with this. Also, if the card is a mailer, the coating will impede it going through the post office and imprinting.

Can I have half of my order with one photo and the other half with another?
Currently we can’t offer you this due to our printing process.

Can I get the back printed with blue or red ink?
Because we run 4/Color process on both sides, it is possible to create virtually any color on the back.

Can you print my letterhead and envelopes?
No, we currently only produce high quality, color process printing on our heavy card stock.

PHOTOS / ARTWORK QUESTIONS...
What types of photos can I use?

Prints or transparencies (slides) offer the best reproduction. Passport photos, electronic photo prints, color copies and the like will not provide acceptable results.

Would a passport photo print be okay to send?
No. The quality of these photo prints are very low. We cannot achieve high quality results from them.

Would an electronic photo print be okay to send?
No. The quality of these photo prints are very low. We cannot achieve high quality results from them.

Would a photographic negative be okay to send?
No. Negatives must first be made into a print. When you send a negative, none of us really know what to expect for the final outcome.

Can you use my digital photo?
That is totally dependent upon the photo. We’ll be happy to take a look at it and give you our honest opinion. However, some digital photos are not sufficient for use in high resolution printing.

DIGITAL ENHANCING QUESTIONS...
Can you remove the person standing next to me in my photo?
Yes. This would be considered a digital modification that would be billable computer graphics time. An estimated cost would be about $50.00, but, it would be best to send us the photo for an accurate quote.

Can you green the grass or blue the sky?

Can you remove the background from my photo?
Yes. This process is called silhouetting and it would be billable computer graphics time. An estimated cost would be about $50.00, but, it would be best to send us the photo for an accurate quote.

ORDERING QUESTIONS...
How do I place an order?
We require an order form to be completed first. There is a digital file submittal form for those preparing their own graphics and a general order form if we are preparing the graphics. The forms are available online or one can be sent to you by fax. Just simply fill it out and send it to us with your photo and a rough layout to follow. Our expert designers will help you with the rest.

How should I send you my order?
We usually recommend that customers send their orders by a trackable means like UPS or FedEx. This also insures your photo or materials in the event they are lost or damaged in route to us. You could also mail it to us or drop it off at our production office.

Can I just fax the order to you?
For reprint orders and those without photos, sending us a fax is fine. Simply use our order form, a layout sheet, (indicate any changes to a reprint order), and fax it to us. All orders must be pre-paid and we will gladly accept Visa or MasterCard for your convenience. 

Can I just E-Mail the order to you?
It is possible for you to send us an order by E-Mail or uploaded to our FTP site. We offer a special Digital File Submittal form covering all of the digital requirements. 

What is your turnaround time?
Our normal turnaround is fast. Orders ship in just 1-2 weeks from approval. We also offer our 7 day guaranteed express turnaround as an option.

What can be done to speed up my order?
Correctly prepared and proofed, customer supplied digital files saves about 2 days in production. Reviewing your proof and promptly sending us your approval can also reduce turnaround time. Our standard shipping is by ground. At the customer’s expense, we can ship by other means to further expedite the process.

What is the total cost of my order?
First, we take the base cost of the card. Next, we add the design package and extras like additional photos, logos, etc. That gives us a sub-total. Non-resellers in Florida are subject to sales tax at 7% on top of the sub-total (multiply 1.07 by the sub-total). Finally, we apply shipping charges.

Who do I make my check out to?
Make all checks payable to ColorCards.Com, Inc.

Do you bill me?
All orders must be pre-paid. When the order exceeds $500, a 50% deposit is required with the balance due at shipping.

Can you send my order COD?
For orders over $500, it is possible to send it COD provided a 50% deposit has been prepaid. All COD’s must be approved by our accounting department.

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. ColorCards.Com, Inc. accepts Visa and MasterCard.
